Number One Cup Review

The NumberOneCup was designed for all those “GOTTA GO NOW” emergencies that inevitably crop up with young boys in the car.

Tried and literally “road tested” by the inventor's sons, Ryan (8), Finn (6) and Gavin (4), this simple receptacle has proven to be a lifesaver time and time again. After all, pee or “Number One” is simply a fact of life when you are a parent…

The cup is made from PETE (Polyethylene terephthalate), which is considered a safe plastic by numerous health authorities, is tapered to fit into most auto cup holders, and features a tethered lid and finger grips sized for smaller fingers (to avoid slipping). It also comes with 3 sanitary hand wipes for on-the-go hygiene.

Made and printed in the U.S.A., these eco-friendly containers feature a tethered lid and heavy-wall design.

Our Thoughts

Like the inventor, I have three boys... And Miss K. Miss K won't be needing something like this for a while just because she's still in diapers however, her brothers need it! Up until we got information about this little gem, the boys were using empty sports drink bottles or empty, cheap water bottles when we were on long trips. Unless you're a parent, you have NO IDEA how many times a little boy can have the need to pee with so little to drink...

My in-laws have a place up north that we go during the summer months on weekends. It's two hours away... How many times can a little boy need to, no strike that, "HAVE TO PEE NOW" in those two hours? Every 10-20 miles if they're my boys! The NumberOneCup has been a life saver! I'm talking that it's saved me from having to ask if there's pee in a bottle or if it's potable liquid. Yes, I know, according to those extreme survivalist shows, your own urine is potable. When it comes to my children or myself, NOPE! No way I want to accidentally drink pee. With the NumberOneCup, I don't have to worry about it as the cup is orange and has a water drop and crossbones on it (think skull and crossbones with a smiling water drop instead of the skull). It's also saved me from having to dig for an empty bottle for the little monsters.

The bottle itself is easy to hold by little hands due to a little bit of contouring. The wide mouth allows the boys to get it in there and not pee all over the vehicle. And the top, while it's attached, it's not in the way and is super easy for the kids to get back on tight without spilling their toxic contents. I do have to admit, I'm honestly thinking of getting more than just the one I have so each of the boys can have "their" pee bottle.

Get more done on the go with a PERI power bank for your iPhone #giveaway

Between responding to work or PTA emails, group texting to set-up a play date and playing a “Doc McStuffins” or “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” episode, your phone is usually on overdrive. Having access to a car or wall outlet isn’t always available so portable power is a must-have to keep you and your family happy and organized.

PERI (www.myperi.com) recently introduced its line of GoCharge ($49.99) products, a 3200mAh power bank with either an integrated Lightning or Micro USB cable for easy, on-the-go charging. The power bank can fully charge any smartphone on average 1.5 times and the integrated Lightning or Micro USB cable eliminates the need to carry additional cables making it perfect to throw in a purse or back pocket, plus, it looks really good!

My Thoughts

I've used power banks in the past, because for some reason, my car won't charge my phone. It's rather frustrating. So I keep a charged power bank with me to make sure if I'm out, I can charge my phone if need be. I was excited to try PERI because it looked to be the mother of all power banks. And it's made for the iPhone, which was a another big plus. I felt like it would know what my phone needed, if that makes sense.

I definitely got many charges out of this. Some of the ones I have used before this, I can get two phone charges out of, but this one I got several before it needed to be charged up again.

Another thing I really liked about the PERI was the design. Instead of the long squared rectangle like most, this is about the size of an Iphone 6 and think. You can easily put your phone against this and hold it in your hand if you're on the phone. It isn't bulky. I also liked the gold color to it, giving it a very classy look.

I think this is one of the best power banks I've tried out. I give PERI a big thumbs up for the design as well as the amount of time the power bank works, plus it charges the phone super fast.

Giveaway

One lucky winner will win a PERI power bank. To enter just fill out the giveaway tools form below. Open to the US only. Giveaway will end 8/18/15. The winner will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to reply. Thanks again to PERI for offering this fantastic prize.

Review: Squeez'Ems Reusable Food Pouches

**Product was received in exchange for an honest review.**

Add Squeez'Ems Reusable Food Pouches To Your Child's School Lunch

Want to make sure your child's school lunch is not overloaded with sugars and preservatives or ensure that your child's lunches are eco friendly without throwaway applesauce or yogurt containers? The new Squeez’Ems reusable food pouches are an innovative and efficient way for the kiddos to bring their fave pureed foods, apple sauce or yogurt along in their lunchboxes! Squeez'Ems are easy to fill, clean, and store, and they are BPA, PVC, and Phthalate Free. They are also safe in the freezer, microwave, and the top rack of the dishwasher!

Also, you also don’t have to worry over losing parts because Sqeez’Ems are comprised of just one piece. Both environmentally-friendly and cost-conscious at just $7.99 per duo-pack, Squeez'Ems are the ultimate must-have for kids of all ages! Visit their website for more info.

Our Thoughts
I love these! Absolutely love these!  They are so easy to fill, so easy to wash in the dishwasher, so easy to use! I love these for yogurt, applesauce, and other liquid stuff.

There is something to be said for being able to throw one of these into a lunchbox or even just give it to the kids in the backseat of my Envoy and not have to worry about them getting whatever foodstuff they wanted in there all over. The squeeze pouch is made from heavy duty material so there's no worries about the kids abusing them too much and puncturing or ripping holes -which would lead to a mess! The green screw top comes off easily and is easily tightened down more than enough to make it so the kids can not get it off - again preventing one more mess! The orange screw top is easy to open for even my three-year-old and he can get it tight enough to keep the contents of the package where it is supposed to be inside the pouch.

All in all, I highly recommend these Squeez'Ems pouches! They're well made, easy to use, durable in extreme circumstances (my kids put stuff to the test all the time!) and don't cost an arm and a leg! I will be ordering more seeing that we now have four kids and even my almost ten-year-old thinks these are cool. I really can't say enough about the pouches so go check out their website!
