Meet Jessica. She has worked as both a personal trainer and weight-loss consultant. Her passion and mission in life is to help others find their motivation, strength, and spirit as well as improve their health. She holds a degree as a Holistic Health Practitioner, so when you buy from her shop, you're in good hands.
She has started a line of spa products called Crystal Sensation. It's body buff and butter. For those not familiar with buff, it's like skin exfoliater. I use it like a soap, except not on my face or woman bits. You scoop some into your hand, it's like wonderful-smelling oil with sugar in it. You scrub your body with it, breathe the smell in, and smile! You rinse it off, dry, and then top it off with butter--lotion.
What's special about these particular buff and butters, however, is this:
The products are made with top-quality organic carrier oils, pure essential oils, and exfoliants. "The oil is charged for at least 24 hours with specially selected crystals and stones that have been cleared of their energy and programmed for the specific intention of each product." It's also non-GMO and vegan.
Do you believe? I do.
I tried her Sweet Dreams. *She has many different kinds for different things. There's an aphrodisiac, an immune booster, etc.* According to the brochure, it has a calming effect, floral aroma with an earthy note, and it's recommended for the person who has sleep disturbances, insomnia, or works the late shift. I'm all the above!
I have terrible insomnia. I work twelve-hour days and am drop-dead tired by the time I get home in the wee hours of the morning, but yet, I can't always relax in time to get a decent rest before I have to get up and do it all over again.
So I tried this stuff.
First, I noted the packaging. Someone puts a lot of thought into making these attractive to the eye. It's a jar, a large jar--I say this because I've purchased buff before in small plastic containers that costed just as much if not more. There is cute sequin border around the lid and an attractive label that clearly lists all the ingredients within. So if you have an allergy, you can check in advance and make sure this is okay for you.
The oil and the "grains" separate a little and require some stirring, so open it very slowly or you'll spill!
I used this in the shower. The smell...hm...how to describe it? It's a mixture of lavender, sandalwood, sage, cedarwood, and sweet majoram. I def noticed the lavender. It's a relaxing scent, not too feminine. I believe a man could use this too. Regardless, it's wonderful. I scrubbed away with this. It should be noted that this jar is intended to last about 5 washings, but I do believe it will last me twice as long.
The exfoliate really invigorated my skin. I especially enjoyed the way it felt on my calves and feet--probably the most tired areas of my body. I didn't want to get out of the shower, honestly.
WARNING: Do not use this product if you have a small hot-water heater and two or three other people are waiting for you to finish so they can shower and hopefully have hot water left... Um, it will be cold showers for them! LOL You won't want to take a quick shower, not with this stuff massaging into your skin.
When I rinsed, my skin was so moist that I thought at first I hadn't gotten it all off. I tried and my skin felt soft to the touch. I really didn't need to top it off with the body butter, but I did. Now, I live in a very dry environment. I work in a climate-controlled room too that only permits so much humidity so a day without scratching from itchy, dry skin is rare. I'm grateful I used this body butter! I love it!
It's recommend that one go to bed right after using it, but I went downstairs and watched a movie instead (it was my night off)..but I will say I was super relaxed, content, and I do believe this works. I slept well when I finally retired for the night.
I will be buying more of this product when I run out.
