As summer comes to an end I wanted to extend appreciation to everyone who has been a supporter of my Etsy Shop,  Readings by the Light, and to the lovely readers here at, New Age Mama. To enjoy our last few weeks of summer, I'll be giving away a metaphysical package to one lucky winner!

Prizes will include a reading of your choice from my shop, a large crystal healing package of ten intuitively selected crystals and stones, as well as a crystal necklace of your choice from my stock! 

Here's an example of some crystals you might find in your healing package. The way they are selected is by asking to be guided towards the ones you currently need the most in your life. You may find some rough labradorite, polished fluorite, amethyst clusters, rose quartz, black tourmaline, and more! Each is labeled in the package so you'll know what you got! The possibilities are endless!

Instagram Giveaway- Two winners and four great prizes!

Greetings, beautiful souls! Who is ready for some prizes? I have a huge joint giveaway going on through Instagram with a few other awesome people! Two winners will receive their choice of any item from my Etsy shop (I have everything from Reiki infused jewelry, crystals and readings available!), a reading from Blair (@the.scorpio.witch), a 1.5 ounce jar of skin salve from Siri (@wildfaeriemagick), and a crystallized creation from Troepic (@troepic). Each of the two winners will receive one of each prize!  

You must have an Instagram account in order to be eligible. That is where I'm collecting entries at this time. If you're interested, please give my account a follow @readingsbythelight, and find the post with the banner above! 

Make sure to read all of the rules before entering. I will leave them below so you know what to comment on Instagram!

1. The entry period is currently going on and it will end the evening of Tuesday, August 16th. Winners will be announced by Wednesday, August 17th.

2. Two winners will be selected at random from all the entries received on my Instagram post. 

3. Entering is easy! All you have to do is follow each of the participants and leave a comment on my post, answering one or both of these questions: 

- What has been your favorite summer memory?

- What is one important lesson you've learned so far in 2016?

That's it! I will count that as your entry. 

4. If you would like to receive extra entries:

Introducing new crystals and jewelry from Reading by the Light!

Hello, New Age Mama Readers! Amber Fallon here to give you all a peek into my latest Etsy update! I've been running my Etsy shop since 2014. I began selling readings primarily, and this year I have decided to expand the shop to bring you crystals and jewelry! Running a metaphysical shop of my own has always been a dream of mine. I've been studying and practicing divination for close to ten years and developed a love of crystals in childhood. Below, I will share some pictures of a few pieces up for sale. Maybe some are meant to be yours! 

I'm excited to announce I'm offering a large variety of raw, cubic purple fluorite in my latest update. These beauties have fascinating cube formations. There are even a couple fluorite crystals that have rainbows inside like the one below. Colors range from deep purple hues to gentle almost lilac shades. All crystal orders will be cleansed by my singing bowl before being sent out to you. That way they will be ready for use. Prices range from $4.00 to $7.00. Shipping is $2.50 and I will combine the cost if you order more than one and they can fit into the same bubble wrap envelope.   

My line of Reiki infused Chalcedony Aura pendants have been a favorite since their launch back in May. These stunners are gold plated and  have a ton of sparkle and shine! A true statement piece! You can choose the pendant only or request a chain.  They range from a variety of colors like rainbow, light blue, brown and dark blue. Once purchased, I will cleanse the crystal with my singing bowl and infuse the pendant with Reiki. If there are special requests for a focus or concern, send me a message on Etsy. The current pendants up for sale have all been blessed and charged by the Summer Solstice/Litha Full Moon. Prices range from $42 to $50.00. Shipping is $5.00 and combine shipping is also available.

Keep em Busy Giveaway

With summer on the way, its time to start looking for ways to keep the kids entertained on rainy days when we can't go to the beach. It never ceases to amaze me how many cool products there are on Etsy so I always look there first. This week I came across Keep em Busy and their amazing I Spy Purses.
