 My Thoughts

Having business cards is important no matter what industry you're in. Before I had my kids, I was an insurance agent. When you're working on commission, word of mouth can mean everything. So whenever a client was happy with my service, I would hand them a stack of cards to give to their friends. More often than not, it led to a few more people walking in the door. Now, I am a free lance writer, author, and blogger, and while most of my pitching and promoting is done online, I have found that business cards are still an imperative part of my business. ApparelnBags.com offers such an incredibly wide variety of clothing, headwear, and bags from a huge selection of brands, it was very difficult to choose one item for a review!  After spending quite some time on their website, I ultimately chose the Sport-Tek LST76 Ladies Colorblock Hooded Jacket by Port Authority (except I chose the color Pink Raspberry) :


The jacket itself is of very nice quality and very reasonably priced at $20.24 ea; I ordered a Small and the sizing was true.  This jacket will be replacing my old, ill-fitting, gigantic big-box raincoat!  It has zippered side pockets and a draw cord hood with toggles.  100% polyester shell with jersey lining and mesh for breathability (important!) and Port Pocket at left chest for easy embroidery access, should you decide to order it with embroidery!  I know I'll get lots of use out of this jacket.

Now, I own a business and ApparelnBags.com appeals to me for two reasons, aside from the great price & quality, which of course is already a plus:

Our Thoughts
I have my own small business, so I'm always looking for ways to advertise.  I've been wanting vinyl lettering for the rear window of my Jeep for some time!  I have worked with some sign companies around here in the past on different projects, and haven't always pleased with the product quality.  There definitely is a difference in how the product is printed and produced!

Signazon.com offered to print the vinyl lettering and logo graphic for my vehicle for this review.  What's really cool is that I can customize everything!  I can upload my logo, choose my lettering, font, and the size of the graphic!  Signazon was extremely helpful with customizing my design - they even offered to, and sent me, mock-up designs on a Jeep background so I could get a great idea of how it would look once installed. They have lots of really nice stock designs to choose from too.  And of course, they don't just do vehicle graphics - they offer all sorts of signs, from car magnets, to retail signs, to banners and more! 

I must say here that their customer service is excellent - they really want happy customers!  The first lettering and graphic I received had some issues, and I didn't hesitate to contact them to talk about it.  With their help, we tweaked the design a bit and they made sure the vinyl was cut cleanly for this round.  The second shipment turned out completely and totally fantastic - I LOVE looking out my window and seeing my Jeep in the yard with that beautiful lettering on it. 

Doesn't that lettering look just utterly fantastic?!?!?

I love that it's so bright, clean, crisp, and easy to read, so everywhere I drive, people are going to SEE it.  LOL, now I'm actually looking for excuses to drive places, just so others will see it!

Our Thoughts
BuildASign has so much to choose from it was a hard decision!  Ultimately, I chose Magnetic Signs, because it was something on my "to get sometime in the future" list for my business.  Before I tell you about the sign, let me tell you about BuildASign's customer service, the Customer Love Team! For me, customer service goes a long way!  If a company isn't helpful or willing to stand behind their product, I'll willingly pay a higher price elsewhere to get the level of service I want.  I had an issue with the first magnetic signs I ordered - the custom graphic I used was too small, so it came out heavily pixelated.  Now, while they do have great suggestions in the FAQ's, there aren't specific image size requirements for each product on their site.  The Customer Love Team was very helpful in getting my issue resolved (excellent communication!!), so my second attempt at creating a custom sign was successful! 

The magnetic signs I received are a nice heavy magnetic - they stick to my vehicle very well yet are easy to reposition - and the colors look great! 

I think it looks pretty darn awesome on my vehicle!
