Valentine's Day Gift Guide - Playmates Toys Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles T-Sprints

Playmates Toys recently launched T-Sprints, an innovative new figure and wheels play pattern that goes beyond traditional vehicle play. The new collection, for children ages 4 and up, is available first at Toys“R”Us^® stores nationwide for the month of December, and will roll out to additional retailers beginning in January. The mighty, motorized micro T-Sprints can quickly take off on wild adventures--just rev, drop and go!  The highly stylized figures, which capture the personalities of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, feature a unique flywheel so kids can rev them up to be ready for sprinting action. With the figure powering the vehicle, once T-Sprints figures are revved, they can be dropped into a vehicle shell and sent racing into action!  The figures are available in single-packs for a suggested retail price of $4.99 each.

Kids can collect all of the T-Sprints figures and vehicles in the collection, including the following:

·         Lickety Split Leo with Shellraiser

·         Mad Motion Mikey with Party Van

·         Rapid Assault Raph with Stealth Bike

·         Dasher Donnie with Patrol Buggy

·         Supersonic Shredder with Shreddermobile

My Thoughts

My son is a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so he was thrilled to get to test out the brand new T-Sprints.  They are adorable action figures that can actually sprint across the floor. All you have to do to get them revved up to give them a little push. You don't have to pull them back like similar toys. Pushing them forward will get them going.

The T-Sprints work best on a hard service. Once they get going, they can fly across the whole room. They work great alone or inside of their vehicles, and the different pieces can be mixed and matched. Each one is very detailed and really captures the personality of each turtle.

My son had an awesome time playing with this action figures. They are very well made, super cute, and best of all, they are extremely affordable. At only $4.99 a piece, they are the perfect alternative to candy this Valentine's day.  If you want to plan even further ahead, they are also a wonderful basket stuffer for Easter.  No matter what the occasion, kids who are fans of the turtles are going to love these newest additions.

Holiday Gift Guide - Waterbabies Review & Giveaway

From the Company

Playmates Toys is delighted to introduce its Waterbabies® brand to a new generation of little girls. All Waterbabies dolls feel soft and cuddly, like a real baby, when filled with warm water.

Our Dream to Be™ Waterbabies want to grow up to be someone special, and they do it in adorable, appealing style. The Giggly Wiggly Waterbabies doll giggles when you touch her and looks like she's really sucking on her bottle or pacifier. The Waterbabies Twins and Twincesses brings twice the fun to playtime! Waterbabies are for every little girl who wants to love and nurture a special doll.

Ages 3 and up

Our Thoughts

My two daughters are nine years apart in age, but when they saw the Water Babies dolls arrive on our doorstep, they were both pretty excited. You only have to look at those sweet little faces to know that its easy for any child to love her. Each one comes with an adorable little outfit including matching hair accessories, as well as her own bottle and pacifier.  But what makes this doll different than any other, is the fact that she feels so real. This is because they add an element of realism to playtime. Since the doll is filled with water, they really do feel just like a real baby in your arms.  The squishiness gives them a human feel, and the water makes them sort of jiggly in your arms, just like a real baby. My girls were thrilled with this effect, and have been taking their water baby with them every where they go.  In addition to this, each of the Dream to Be Water Babies has her own personality. Choose from cheerleaders, soccer players, princesses and more. They even have twins!  Each baby girl is dressed in an outfit that compliments her unique personality. Its the perfect toy for girls of all ages, and would make a great gift for a summer birthday or the perfect head start to your holiday shopping.

You can find the Dream to Be Water Babies in Stores Nationwide including Walmart, Toys R Us, Kohls, and Target.  Or order online direct from Playmates for only $11.99 each!
