Supernatural - The Complete Series

What started off as a dark horror series (even the name 'Supernatural' gives off that vibe) eventually took an interesting turn and so nowadays we have millions of girls swooning over Sam and Dean. Don't get me wrong, there are still ghosts, monsters, demons, vampires, werewolf, and all sorts of fantastic creatures but, every now and then you get a good chuckle and some episodes are straight-up hilarious. Also, after a global success of Twilight and its copycats, I'm pretty sure nobody takes plenty of monsters seriously, or at least scary, anymore. So, if you are looking for something to watch and need it to have a ton of material, if you have plenty of free time or spend most of it at home, you'd be delighted to hear there are whooping fifteen seasons and a vast majority of those have over 20 episodes!

Considering that the show has a substantial female audience, girls and moms alike, it should come as a no surprise there is a ton of fan fiction of all sorts and in various forms all over the web so don't be alarmed if you run into some best sites or similar content every now and then. After all, chicks dig those Winchester boys! Now, 15 seasons is a lot to talk about and, frankly, a bit too much to take in in one sitting so I'll give you a shorter and more concise rundown so that you get the idea of what to expect. Another thing to keep in mind is that, way back in 2010, when the fifth season came out, there were rumors it was supposed to be the last one. However, the show kept going and now we're here. Yet, you can, sort of, see how the show could've ended back then and some would argue the quality dropped at that point. Not that many ended up complaining that they got the chance to enjoy much more of their favorite demon hunters.

To give you a rough idea of what to expect, let's go all the way back to the beginning. As mentioned before, the show started as a horror series. Two brothers reunited after years apart, looking for a missing father, who in turn went hunting a demon who killed their mother. Proper family drama right there. Sometimes there are familiar and well-known monsters like ghosts, shapeshifters, or Bloody Mary, and sometimes they find more obscure enemies to deal with. As with every show, it took time for characters to develop but the storytelling is impressive and the immersion is on par with the highest quality virtual games. Things start going off rather quickly yet, somehow, the show keeps finding new ways to impress the audience and up the stakes, at least for the first five seasons. Without risking to spoil too much, I'll leave you with couple of final words. If you're looking for an adventure with proper chemistry between actors and good fantasy, you won't make a mistake watching Supernatural.
