My Thoughts
Good Karma is a medical drama set in a little town in India. It centers around Dr. Ruby Walker. After the end of her relationship, she decides to leave her stressful UK job behind and start over in a small hospital in India. Adjusting to life in India takes some getting used to, but she soon learns to embrace her new life. Season three includes six episodes.
1- Jackie brings her sister to the hospital and finds the maternity ward is packed. Ruby gets the cold shoulder when she returns. Greg gets a surprise visitor.
2-The team awaits a mobile service coming to help with surgeries. Gabriel's mentor is among the new doctors. Lydia ties to convince a patient to have surgery.
3-Ruby and Ram disagree on a treatment during a house call. Gabriel reveals a secret to Ruby. Lydia wants to find a nurse's attacker.
4- Al helps out on his college break. Greg's daughter has a secret. Ruby helps a patient reunite with his long lost love.
5-There's a celebration in town that brigs chaos. Lydia helps a runaway teen. Jyoti discharges herself.
6-There is disagreement on how to help Jyoti. Ruby tries to get back to her normal duties.I really enjoyed this series. Medical dramas are always fun, but this one has a really unique theme and setting. There are funny moments, and heart touching scenes. This is one of me favorite Acorn TV shows so far, and I can't wait to see what happens in the second season. Grab a copy of Series Three for yourself on Acorn Media or Amazon.
