When Frank Collins (Reno Wilson) suffers from writer’s block, he decides to start a day care for his father-in-law (Danny Trejo) and other seniors as a way to make quick cash, while giving him time to still work on his next book. Eventually getting a small group to care for, Frank soon learns that these are not your typical seniors and they can’t be easily corralled. With a code enforcement officer challenging the legality of his business, and his senior charges getting into all kinds of trouble, Frank’s work days become anything but effortless. Featuring an all-star cast of TV’s greatest stars, Grand-Daddy Day Care is a hilarious story for the young, and the young at heart.

Steinberg, (American Pie 2, Slackers) and is produced by Mike Elliott (Death Race franchise, Woody Woodpecker). My Thoughts
In Grand-Daddy Daycare, Frank is a writer trying to get by. He starts struggling with his writing but he's not ready to give it up for a real job. As a solution, be decides to bring a few seniors into the house and keep an eye on them. He's expecting a bunch of old men will be easy to deal with. Just give them their meds and they'll sleep all day, right? Well, not this cast of characters. These guys still have a little life left in them, and they like to get into trouble. Frank finds he has more work on his hands than he ever expected as he tries to reign in this group of rowdy seniors.
This is a really fun, slapstick film with an all-star cast. Seeing these comedy legends brought together is reason enough to watch the film.
