Rooster Teeth and Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM) today announced that the newest story in the Red Vs. Blue universe will arrive on digital platforms on November 6, 2018 and Blu-Ray® + DVD Combo Packon January 1, 2019.Red Vs. Blue follows two groups of soldiers in the distant future who are battling for control of the least desirable piece of real estate in the known universe: a box canyon in the middle of nowhere.

"The passionate fan base of Red vs Blue is one of the main reasons why it is the longest running web-series on the internet,” said Joe Nicolosi, Director of RedvsBlue.“We're thrilled to offer up a new cosmically crazy adventure with these colorful characters for all of our fans -new and old."

In Red Vs. Blue: The Shisno Paradox, a simple trip out for pizza ends with the Reds and Blues scattered and lost in time. Their ridiculous adventures in history inadvertently make them pawns in a war between Gods and Titans, which has been raging since before the dawn of time. The Red Vs. Blue franchise, which is based on the best-selling Xbox video game Halo, has had over one billion total views online with over one million DVDs sold. The Blu-Ray® + DVD Combo Packand digital release will be jam-packed with bonus features including behind-the-scenes, director/writer commentary and crew photos.

My Thoughts

In The Shisno Paradox,  group of friends just want to go out for pizza, but they find themselves lost in time and forced to fight in battle that is raging between a group of Gods and Titans.  They face off against many mythological creatures as they fight to save the universe from destruction. If they don't come out on top, mayhem will prevail.

Based off the video game, Red vs Blue is a great series that reminds me of a more advanced version of Power Rangers with better graphics and made for young adults to enjoy. There is a lot of action and the characters are unique and based on actual mythology. This set also includes some great bonus features like bloopers, commentary, and a look behind the animation. Grab a copy for yourself in stores nationwide or online at Amazon.
