Lionsgate's Family Adventure TURTLE TALE

The uproarious family adventure Turtle Tale arrives on DVD, Digital, and On Demand June 26 from Lionsgate. Awarded the Dove Seal of Approval, this fast-moving tale of slow-moving friends, is “rich and full of heart” (The Dove Foundation), and follows two mismatched turtles who joke and bicker as they search for their friend, who vanished from a Florida animal park. The film features the voice talents of Mikey Bolts, Tom Arnold, Ambyr Childers, and Lydia Hull. The Turtle Tale DVD includes never-before-seen featurettes and will be available for the suggested retail price of $14.98.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS
Ever met a talking turtle? Follow the adventures of sassy, outspoken box turtles Rafi and Hank and their friend, a gruff snapping turtle named Goliath. After vandals break into a nature park and kidnap Hank, it’s up to Rafi and Goliath to hit the trail in search of their missing friend. Meanwhile, the humans that care for the turtles are having their own wild and unpredictable summer. Come out of your shell and enjoy real-life laughter, romance, and fun in the Florida sunshine.
My Thoughts
Turtle Tale is an adorable movie about two box turtles named Rafi and Hank along with Goliath the snapping turtle. The trio live happily at the nature park, until some kids break in and kidnap Hank. Rafi and Goliath decide they are going to save their friend. They head out on a crazy adventure while the humans at the park deal with some drama of their own, including a flourishing romance.

This is a really cute movie. My kids always enjoy films that use real animals, and this is the first time we've seen turtles taking the limelight in a movie. The turtles are really adorable, and the voice actors really bring the characters to life. It's a fun adventure in the heart of Florida. You can grab a copy of this fun film in stores nationwide or online at Amazon.

This sounds adorable. I love that it's turtles. I don't remember another movie where turtles are the main characters. I know there was a sea turtle in Finding Nemo. But not as the lead character.

This would be fun for me/Gramma and my husband/PopPop to watch with our little grandson! We all crazy love all animals and my husband and I also enjoy animated movies (especially ones with animals and some comedy in them) so much sometimes just the 2 of us go watch such movies at the movie theatre on a date. I like that it has the Dove Seal of Approval too, because little Ashton is not allowed to watch just ANY cartoon movie since sadly some of them are too violent or not healthy in ours or his Mama's opinions. But I know this one would be. It looks cute too.
