KUROZUKA: The Complete Series

KUROZUKA is a popular anime series based on the Japanese manga written by Baku Yumemakura and illustrated by Takashi Noguchi. Beginning in 12th century Japan and finding its way to futuristic, post-apocalyptic Japan, the story follows Kuro, a swordsman who falls in love with Kuromitsu, an immortal vampire. About to turn immortal himself, Kuro is betrayed by his servant, Benkei, a secret member of the Red Imperial Army, leaving him unconscious until he awakens in the future, finding a ravaged, post-nuclear Japan under control of the Red Army. Kuro is determined to take on the army and find his immortal love. 

ULTRAVIOLET CODE 044: The Complete Series

Based on the popular science fiction film, ULTRAVIOLET CODE 044 is an anime series produced by the legendary studio, Madhouse. 044 is a female super-soldier, genetically manipulated by a virus which gives her incredible fighting ability, but greatly reduces her life expectancy. She is sent on a mission to eliminate an outlaw group known as the Phage, but ends up becoming an enemy to both the Phage and her own government. She goes on the run with Luka, the son of a Phage leader.
