My Thoughts
Monsters at Large is a cute movie about a team of kids who decide to start a business to get rid of the imaginary monsters in their town. They make their own weapons, and the younger kids in town are thrilled to get rid of the things that go bump in the night. Alex and his friends think they have the perfect scam because they know there are no real monsters. Or are there? Suddenly they find themselves facing a monster that isn't actually imaginary. But don't worry. He's not as scary as he seems, but he does cause a lot of trouble. Can Alex and his friends send this monster back where he belongs?
This was a really cute film. It's like a kid version of Ghostbusters. My kids enjoyed the fun story line and the humor. Though there is a "real" monster, he isn't too scary for younger kids, making this a great film to watch with the whole family. Kids of all ages will enjoy this wacky film, and every family should have it in their collection.
