My Thoughts

My family has been waiting for this release and we couldn't be more excited about the Blu-ray/DVD/ Digital HD pack. This movie was just fantastic and everything I hoped it would be. Kylo Ren makes for a great villain and I was glad to see he was back. He's not as disciplined as Darth Vader, which allowed for more raw emotion. Rey is a wonderful heroine, and I loved her interaction with Luke. It's nice to see a women taking the lead, and Finn was just amazing too.

One of the best parts of this film is seeing most of the original cast reunited. I'm so glad they didn't hire younger actors to play these roles because that would've ruined the realism. No one can replace the originals. My favorite character is this film is Leia. She is proof of the strength of the female gender. Throughout the series, she has been through so much and lost almost everyone she cared about. Her home planet was even blown to pieces. Yet, she's still the only Skywalker who was never been tempted to the dark side. She is a great example of a real heroine,  and Carrie Fisher played the part beautifully.

I don't want to give too much away as far as the story line, but be prepared for lots of adventures. There are great fight scenes and lots of chases. There are victories and some very bitter losses. The special effects are outstanding and the alien extras in the cast are an art-form all of their own.  In addition to the movie, this set includes some awesome bonus footage, including deleted scenes, a full length documentary, and so much more. This is definitely a movie everyone needs to have in their collection.

Be sure to grab a copy for yourself today. It's available now in store national or online at Amazon.
