My Thoughts

The chalkboard lava lamp has been a fun addition for my kids. They've enjoyed being able to draw on the base, erase and draw again. They like to write messages on it and sometimes a reminder. The chalk erases right off without issue and doesn't leave a residue. 

The Lava Lamp works as intended. The first couple uses we didn't get the full effect. The stuff in the insides that does the movement was stuck to the top of the lava lamp and we were finally able to work it down. It now works perfectly and the kids enjoy turning it on each day and watching as the liquid swishes around.

Do note that it comes apart easy. So with little kids, you'll want to keep it out of reach. The center part that hold the liquid is glasses. It is sealed with a bottle cap, so the liquid won't come out, but fingers could still be cut on it.

We look forward to using the Lava Lamp more and decorating it for each upcoming Holiday.
