PBS Distribution announced today it is releasing the new DVD “WILD KRATTS: A CREATURE CHRISTMAS.” This DVD features the WILD KRATTS Christmas movie, which is full of amazing creature powers, dastardly villains, and adorable baby animals!

The Wild Kratts crew is resting and relaxing as they get ready for the Wild Kratts Christmas party after a busy year filled with amazing creature adventures! It’s too bad their archenemies Donita Donata, Gaston Gourmand, and Zach Varmitech are about to spoil the fun. The sound of jingle bells is replaced by alarm bells as the team discovers that Donita, Gourmand, and Zach are capturing baby animals from around the globe. With Christmas fast approaching, can Martin and Chris rescue their baby animal friends and return them to their homes in time for the holidays?

WILD KRATTS: A CREATURE CHRISTMAS will be available on DVD October 4, 2016. The DVD run time is approximately 60 minutes and its SRP is $6.99. “WILD KRATTS: A CREATURE CHRISTMAS” is also available for digital download.

WILD KRATTS transforms the Kratt Brothers, creators of the award-winning “Kratts’ Creatures” and Emmy-winning “Zoboomafoo,” into animated versions of themselves, allowing the real-life zoologists to visit wild animals in their little-seen habitats and showcase key science concepts along the way. From elephants using physics to suck gallons of water with their trunks to a fleet of peregrine falcons that harness the force of gravity to speed through the air, each episode of WILD KRATTS presents age-appropriate science inspired by the natural abilities of the animals that the Kratt Brothers – and young viewers – meet. WILD KRATTS airs daily on PBS KIDS (check local listings).

My Thoughts

My kids just love the Wild Kratts and all their adventures in the Australian Outback.  Not only is the show always full of entertaining adventures, they also learn a little about the local wildlife. This DVD brings us a full-length holiday feature. When baby animals are being kidnapped all over the world, the brothers have to put their presents aside and go out on a rescue mission. They make a promise to get everyone home before Christmas.

This is a great DVD and one of their best episodes. Any fan will want this in their collection. It's the perfect way to great ready for the holidays.
