My Thoughts

I've been following the Poirot series for a while now. David Suchet did such an amazing job portraying this timeless character, and it was really interesting seeing him talk about his time on the show, and why he thinks it was such a big hit with fans all over the world.

This series is hosted by Stanley Tucci, and it gives you a little behind the scenes details about the show, like the fact that some of the scenes are shot in Agatha Christie's home. She is the author of the books this show was adapted from. There's lots of great commentary from Suchet, and you even get to meet Agatha's real grandson!

I really enjoyed seeing this side of Poirot, and I'm sad to see this series come to an end. It's packed with lots of mystery, intrigue, and humor.  Poirot remains an engaging character with a lot of personality (and a really cool mustache). If you'd like to grab a copy of this great DVD for yourself, you can find it at Acorn Media, and online at Amazon.
