Can you believe I have never tried beets before? I do like carrots and saw they have those too.

I like the kind of beets you get at the grocery store that are in some kind of liquid and the beets are sliced and red.

We frequently add beets to our salads and also use them as a side dish. Everyone in my family loves beets!

I loved this beet salad that my mom use to make. I couldn't tell you how she made it and I haven't thought about it in awhile. I also will order a beet salad kinda like the recipe above at a local restaurant and that is good too.
