"Adventures in Babysitting," inspired by the hugely popular 1980s film of the same name, is an upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie starring Sabrina Carpenter (of Disney Channel's hit comedy series "Girl Meets World") and Sofia Carson (of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie "Descendants"). In "Adventures in Babysitting," a dull evening for two competing babysitters, Jenny (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lola (Sofia Carson), turns into an adventure in the big city as they hunt for one of the kids who somehow snuck away.
My Thoughts
Being a child of the 80's myself, I remember the original Adventures in Babysitting. This new Disney film takes that show and gives it a little modern twist. The movie centers around two babysitters who are in a friendly competition to prove which one is better. Trouble starts when one of the kids sneaks away and gets lost in the city. The two girls team up, and with the help of the others kids, they set out to find their missing charge.
This was a great movie. My girls are 6 and 15 and they both enjoyed it. It was also fun for me because it brought back memories of my own childhood The DVD also includes some great bloopers that you won't see on television. I would recommend this fun film to anyone with daughters.
