Easter Gift Guide - Treehouse Fairies: Coming to Forests Near You - #Giveaway

What is Treehouse Fairies?

Treehouse Fairies is a new product for children or the young at heart that combines imagination and outdoor fun with a delightful fairy tale.
The set includes a 64-page, full-color hardcover book entitled "Treehouse Fairies of Merrywood" and a sturdy wooden "fairy house" for decorating.

How is it played?
*  Read the tale about a tiny fairy named Tessa who loses her home. As the book draws to a close, the reader is encouraged to create a new home for Tessa using items from Nature and the wooden house provided.
*  Take a walk in the great outdoors to collect items such as acorns, moss, pebbles, etc. for decorating.
* Help the child decorate the fairy house and place it in a spot where a fairy could find it.
* Over a series of nights, place notes, small trinkets, fairy dust, etc. at the house as signs that the fairy has visited. Continue the magic as long as you wish!
*If desired, order the Tessa fairy doll from our website to come live at the home, or continue the game with make-believe fairies.
Where is it available?
Treehouse Fairies, the boxed set, will be sold in retail outlets across the U.S. It is an ideal product for gift shops, book stores, specialty toy stores, and garden shops. It is available at our website: www.treehousefairies.com.

My Thoughts
I have always taught my children to believe in the magic of fairies, and this delightful gift set truly brings that magic to life. It comes with a beautifully illustrated book entitled: Treehouse Fairies of Merrywood by Carol Hoops & Kathy Thaggard. Inside is more than one simple story. There are actually fourteen different chapters to discover featuring princesses, both good and mischievous fairies, adorable animals, and so much more. Every night you can read your children another section weaved with fairy dust. My children loved all the stories and the bright and colorful illustration by Shannon M. Valentine.
In addition to the book, you also receive an actual fairy house. This wooden house has a little door that really opens and lots of room for creativity. The back panel is open so you can decorate it inside and out. When it's completed, you can keep it inside or place it outdoors for your resident fairies to move in. My daughter started decorating with some heart-shaped glitter and we also plan to leave a few crystals inside since fairies love things that sparkle.
Treehouse Fairies are tons of fun and a wonderful way to help children develop their imagination. To get a Treehouse Fairies set of your own or to find more ideas on how to decorate your fairy house, be sure to visit their website.

Each fairy has a unique gift of service that he or she brings to the kingdom. Merrywood is a fun and happy place for a fairy to live! The only worry the fairies have is losing their homes.

I learned that If a fairy house is lost or destroyed, the fairy MUST find a new one before the next moon rises or be lost forever.
