Colgate Enamel Health Mineral Repair

As a trusted source of information to women everywhere, we’re excited to share with you the first look at the latest additions in the Colgate® Enamel Health™ portfolio – Colgate® Enamel Health™ Mineral Repair™ toothpaste and the Colgate® 360°® Enamel Health™ Whitening Manual Toothbrush.
We all make decisions every day that help us live a healthy lifestyle, whether it’s getting out of bed to exercise a few days each week, eating healthy, balanced meals or drinking water throughout the day.  However, what you may not be considering is a simple step in your daily oral care routine to help keep your enamel strong and healthy. Everyday eating and drinking can weaken your enamel, making it easier for germs to build up, but brushing with the new Colgate® Enamel Health™ Mineral Repair™ Toothpaste helps repair weakened enamel with vital minerals, like natural calcium, for stronger, healthy enamel. Additionally, this new toothpaste provides protection against sensitivity and cavities with continued twice daily use, while also providing whitening and fresh breath benefits.

My Thoughts

Loosing enamel is one of those things that happen as you get older. I noticed it even before the dentist pointed it out. My teeth started to look almost translucent in spots. I just didn't know what the problem was. It's not just about having a pretty smile either. Enamel is the first layer of your teeth and if it's not properly maintained, it's easier to damage your teeth.
Colgate Enamel Health Mineral Repair Toothpaste  is specially formulated to help maintain healthy enamel and keep your smile looking great.

I really loved the Colgate Mineral Repair Toothpathe. The Mint Burst flavor leaves your breath minty fresh and your teeth sparkling white. Plus, it stops sensitivity in its tracks. To go along with the toothpaste, there are also Enamel Health toothbrushes. The bristles on these are softer than other bristles so you don't rub your enamel away when you brush.  I found that these products worked great, and after a few weeks of use, I've noticed a definite improvement in my smile. The enamel has been replenished and I no longer notice any transparency.

If you want to give the new line a try, you can find it now in retailers nationwide. To learn more, be sure to visit the Colgate Enamel Health website.

question for you - are you aware of the abrasivity of this toothpaste? the soft bristle toothbrush is great, but toothpastes can be quite abrasive, and clinically speaking, this toothpaste isn't that low in abrasivity, potentially wearing off that enamel that is softened by our diets. I would also like to know the reason they say this toothpaste repairs enamel. Does it have more fluoride uptake to the enamel surface than other toothpastes? I have done a lot of research on toothpastes that claim to protect our enamel and reharden/remineralize the enamel, as well as low abrasive as to not wear off the enamel. The best toothpaste that I have found with the most clinical data is Sensodyne Pronamel. This paste also helps with any sensitivity, least abrasive, sls free, and data to show superior fluoride uptake to protect enamel from erosion.
