Adult coloring with Canvas on Demand #giveaway

Adult coloring is a steadily growing popular pastime, and studies are showing that coloring can reduce stress and help to stimulate the brain as well as fine motor skills. In our technology-obsessed society, it's the perfect way to unplug, unwind and get creative.

Canvas on Demand is now elevating the adult coloring book craze with its new Coloring Canvases. They offer a huge selection of designs including animals, flowers, geometric and abstract patterns and holiday themes. When your masterpiece is finished, just use the included hardware to hang it on your wall. Coloring Canvases offer a variety of sizes ranging from 5" x 7" all the way up to 20" x 24" starting as low as $16.50 and make a perfect gift for any occasion.

My Thoughts

I have not colored for myself since I was young. Having kids, I have colored with them in their coloring books, but it was usually time spent with them. When I got my Canvas on Demand, this was something for me. I sat down with it and used a set of Sharpie Markers that worked really good on the canvas. I spent roughly forty minutes working on the canvas. It's not done yet and will take some time, but I'm okay with that. It was fun to sit back and think about each flower and pattern, and how I wanted to color it.

The markers I used dried quickly and if my hand sat on an area I colored while coloring somewhere else, there was no bleed onto my hand. The canvas is well made and I didn't feel like while I colored on it, I would stretch it. It's very sturdy and hard.

It comes with the hardware to hang it later when you're finished. I will say, I did feel relaxed while coloring with it. I've been looking for time to sit down and color on it again.

I love this adult coloring movement. I would like a canvas because it would be something new for me and because I would love to color something and have it be ready for display just like that.

I've always liked to color. I loved it when my son was into coloring because it gave me an excuse.

I want to win because I have read that coloring helps reduce stress and I need to find ways to help relieve some stress.

I want to win it for my friend who is trying to quit smoking after 40+ years. She has tried an adult coloring book and it helps her keep her hands occupied. The nicotine patches help with cravings, but don't help her keep her hands occupied. I think the canvas will be even more time consuming and you could even frame it as a reminder that it helped ger break the horrible smoking habit.

For the last couple of months I've been using adult coloring books to color pictures and frame them. I find that coloring is calming and therapeutic. I'd love to win a canvas to hang on my wall, that I've colored. Thanks.

I used to love drawing and coloring, but it's been ages since I've done it. I know that is therapeutic for pain and stress, so I would love to try this. I love that it's a canvas that you can hang afterwards...what a fabulous idea!
