Holiday Gift Guide - World Vision - #Giveaway

As socially responsible giving grows in popularity, many readers find themselves wondering which products actually impact society or where they can find them. Lack of knowledge is often the reason people do not increase their socially responsible shopping. Give your readers the power of knowledge and the security of knowing where their money is going with World Vision’s Gift Catalog.

The 2015 World Vision Gift Catalog contains more than 250 poverty-fighting gifts, ranging in price from $16 to $39,000, that improve the quality of life for struggling children and families in the U.S. and around the world. This holiday season, encourage your readers to give help where it is most needed and receive beautiful handcrafted jewelry for themselves or their loved ones, such as:

Royal Silk Scarf – This gorgeous silk scarf adds color to the holidays and supports the needs of children and families worldwide. The luxurious silk is woven by Vietnam’s Ma Chau villagers, who receive sustainable income through their craft. $95

 My Thoughts
World Vision, a humanitarian non-profit organization with an impressive track record in the fight against poverty, has been helping struggling children and families in the U.S. and around the world for decades. With a financial contribution of as little as $25 to the World Vision Gift Catalog, the gift giver can select one of 36 handcrafted items (a few are listed below) that can be given to a loved one and at the same time help a person in need.
That pretty much says it, folks. This Christmas, buy a hand-crafted gift for a loved one or friend AND at the same time, by doing that, help someone who desperately needs it.
I took a look at some of the items offered in this catalog and chose a bracelet for review.

What they say: "This gorgeous adjustable silver cuff bracelet features an intricately laced vine pattern designed by artisans in Old Delhi, India. This stunning piece is the result of once mistreated jewelry makers banding together to support their families through fair trade practices."

What I say: The brief story behind this stunning piece of artwork makes it all the more precious to have. I love that people mistreated, not only survived, but thrived and turned ugliness into something beautiful down the road.
The design is intricate. I imagine it will get a ton of complimentary compliments. It's very subtly and easily adjustable. Any woman would be proud to wear this on her wrist. I would purchase this for a good girlfriend or lady in my family.
The Giveaway

One lucky winner is going to receive a silver cuff bracelet of their own. To enter, just fill in the Giveaway Tools form below. This giveaway will end on 11/14/15. Open to the US only. I looked & seen a few of the handcrafted gifts, like the bracelet that I liked. But if getting a gift will lessen my donation gift, then I would NOT want one!! I have everything I need already!
