Wings Over Houston Airshow
The Wings Over Houston Airshow, is a production of the Commemorative Air Force, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is one of the largest civic events in Metropolitan Houston. This year it's celebrating over 30 years of service to the community and the organizations it supports. One of Houston's largest non-profit civic events, the Wings Over Houston Airshow proceeds are used to sponsor the Wings Over Houston Scholarship Program for college students studying for careers in aviation, Aviation Career Education (ACE) Summer Academy for high school juniors and seniors interested in aviation, Commemorative Air Force aircraft restoration and flying historical programs, Exchange Club of Sugar Land, Rotary Club, and many other area non-profit groups. Each year the performers and the displays may change, but one thing remains the same. It is a spectacular experience both on and off the ground. This year headliners include the Air Force Thunderbirds, the VFA-122 Super Hornet in action and the Breitling Jet Team, the world’s largest professional civilian flight team performing on jets, just to name a few. Get a full list of performers and displays online. Ticket prices go up on Oct. 1, 2015 so now is the time to purchase them! A favorite ticket is the family pack - which offers 2 adult and up to 4 children, not like many tickets which are 2 adults and 2 children.
