My Thoughts

This story is a cute twist on two classic fairy tales--Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.  The story resolves around a kitchen boy named Jack who falls in love with Princess Rose.  The youngest dwarf accidentally causes the princess to prick her finger and fall asleep.  When Jack is kidnapped by the evil queen, seven hip-hop dwarves come to the rescue so he can awaken Rose and save the kingdom.

These was a cute movie perfect for younger kids. There isn't much violence and it really isn't scary. My five year old loved it, but my older kids lost interest fairly quickly. Overall, a nice movie to watch once for family movie night, but probably not something we will watch again.
