Our Thoughts

Our son has a laundry list of health issues, most of which are genetic, so we help balance his body chemistry with supplements.  And of course, we want great quality supplements but we also want them at a price we can afford, because he'll need supplements for the rest of his life.

CAM Formulas is an online retailer which carries over 150 brands, and they generously offered to send me a product of my choice for the purpose of this review.  Of all the supplements my son needs, CAM Formulas carries several, which is awesome because normally we get these right from his doctor's office, but when the doctor's office is out of stock, it becomes problematic to source the same supplements at a comparable price, once you take shipping into account.

I chose to review Klaire Labs Vital-Zymes Chewables, which is a comprehensive digestive enzyme supplement. 

Finding digestive enzymes that work for our son was a difficult and very messy road. He has a metabolic disorder, so without help, his body does not digest food properly.  I've seen whole foods come out looking about the same as they went in!  Many digestive enzymes out there contain bromelain, however, his body does not tolerate bromelain in any form beyond actual pineapple.
