Get a Taste of Hawaii with The Tiki Box

I've never been to Hawaii and at this rate, I probably never will. Luckily, The Tiki Box is around to give me a taste of the tropics, even if I can't be there in person. The Tiki Box is a monthly subscription box that sends you a selection of Hawaii's favorite products. It's a fun way to experience life on the islands. While you're enjoying the treats in the box, you will almost feel the sand beneath your toes and the gentle ocean breeze stroking your hair.

I was lucky enough to get to test out the March Tiki Box, and my family had a lot of fun with it. The box comes beautifully packaged with a list of everything you'll find inside. This is very handy, because not everything is written in English.  Here is a little about the items we got to try.

Glico Pretz Salad - Crunchy biscuits that taste like salad!
Shelly Senbei Rice Crackers - Seaweed flavored crackers
Beans Group Garlic Peas - Garlic Coated Green Peas
Hawaiian Sun Chocolate Macadamia Nut Clusters
Hawaiian Host Maui Caramacs - Dry roasted macadamia nuts smothered in caramel and chocolate
Mauna Loa Honey Roasted Macadamia Nuts
Li Hing Mui Drops - Hard candy with a plum center
Diamond Bakery Lilikoi Creem Sanwich Crackers - Crackers with a center of lilikoi cream
Hong Yuan Classic Guava Hard Candy - White guava flavored hard candy

I can't say we LOVED everything in the box. Most of it was awesome, but the garlic peas and seaweed biscuits weren't a huge hit. However, even trying the things we didn't like was a unique and fun experience. It's exciting to learn about other cultures, and educational for kids. If you're interested in trying out The Tiki Box for yourself, it's available for as little as $15 a month. If you want to get a taste of Hawaii without every leaving your house, this is the box for you.
