Urth Box - Monthly Subscription Service for Discovering Healthy Foods

UrthBox, the curator of monthly collections of healthy snacks delivered straight to customers’ doors and office cubicles, today announced that the service is changing the way people snack by effortlessly replacing their existing junk foods with an array of non-GMO, organic, and all natural edibles.

Unhealthy snacking is a major cause of obesity in the U.S., which affects roughly 78.6 million adults and has quadrupled in adolescents over the past 30 years. Most people overeat somewhere between 500 and 1,500 calories of unhealthy snacks every day, according to cardiologist Allen Dollar, MD, assistant professor of medicine at Emory University in Atlanta.
UrthBox helps swap out the junk food by using a thorough research process for each potential addition to its boxes including evaluation of product ingredients, sources, calorie factors, nutrition content, manufacturing reviews and most importantly taste. Only the highest-scoring products are green-lighted and distributed to customers, with over 20 brand new unique items added to the company’s collections each month.

UrthBox’s convenient free delivery service and its thorough vetting of products allows people to effortlessly be exposed to quality snack foods without the hassle of searching or trial and error of taste-testing sub-par products. This instant convenience makes it remarkably easier for people to incorporate healthier snacks rather than blindly munching on whatever junk food happens to be around.

UrthBox offers four different box sizes for various appetites ,as well as an office box, all available in Classic, Gluten-Free, Vegan, and Diet. Boxes are priced as low as $9 a month and incorporate only Non-GMO and organic snacks and beverages.

My Thoughts

I love trying out healthy snacks, but let's face it, not all of them are going to be a fit for every person. When you buy all-natural products, they are more expensive than most store brands, so you want to make sure it's worth the purchase price before you buy. Urth Box offers a unique subscription service that allows you to sample a variety of all-natural, earth friendly and organic products each month. For the low price of only $18 a month, a new selection gets shipped to your door, allowing you to sample some of the best all natural products on the market and see which ones you enjoy the most.
I received an Urth Box to try out and I was pretty impressed with the selection. The package is a little smaller than a shoe box, but it's packed with tons of tasty treats. Keeping with their green theme, the box is also made entirely from recyclable material. This month's box included  from:

Rachel Michael's Gourmet Popcorn
Luke's Organic Cheddar Clouds
Smooch Lip Smackingly Good Fruit Pouch
Deep River Snacks Kettle Cooked Potato Chips
Vertical Water
Curry Cashew Snakarola
Urban Remedy Banana Brittle
Urban Remedy Oatmeal Cookies
Creative Snacks & Co Dark Chocolate Espresso Beans
Dark Angel Organic Candy Bar
Chocolate Mouse Dragon Cookie
Sheffa Tasty Snack Mix
Smooze Fruit Ice
Snapea Crisps
Super Seedz Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds
Energy Gummi Bears

Some of these brands I was familiar with and a few I've even reviewed on this blog, but the flavors were varieties I hadn't had a chance to try yet. Other brands I never heard of before getting my Urth Box. There wasn't anything in this batch that someone didn't enjoy and I know I'll be looking for many of these brands in my local store. Urth Box even makes it easy for you to track down the items because they include a list off all the products and the stores where you can find them.

If you're looking to try out some new snacks and you want to make healthy choices without a lot of guess work, you should definitely give Urth Box a try.To learn more about this awesome company and all they have to offer, visit their website or follow them on their social media.

This subscription box would be a wonderful way for my family and I to sample some new, healthy foods and see if we like them. It would give us an idea on the type of healthy snacks we liked!
