Spring Fashion from Apricot Lane Boutique

There may still be snow on the ground, but I'm dreaming of spring. Nothing brightens my winter blues more than shopping for beautiful spring clothes in bright, cheerful colors. This year, all my top picks are from Apricot Lane Boutique, and my teen daughter was right there with me. This is one online boutique that has everything we need to suit both our personal styles.  This is because Apricot Lane is owned and run by a mother and daughter team. The daughter, also a mother herself, oversees all the online sales as well as buying for the store. Such a fun twist on a modern day family business- they offer west coast, celebrity inspired looks for both mothers and daughters at affordable prices.

One new addition to Apricot Lane Boutique this spring is their stunning workout wear which is both stylish and functional. My daughter loves yoga pants so she was thrilled with the Colorful Band Yoga Pants. Made from spandex, they are form fitting and comfortable.

The pants are full length black with a pretty Aztec-style  band around the waist to add a hint of color.  They provide a sleek fit and move with your body, making them great for workout sessions or a quick jog on a brisk spring morning.

The Touch of Lace Sweatshirt was the perfect compliment to the yoga pants. It's very cozy, and hangs down around waist length. There's a hood in the back and pockets with a touch of lace around the hem to give it a more elegant look. Because there's no reason why you can't feel pretty while you're working out.

We opted for the coral color because it matches the band around the pants so well, but it's also available in gray, mint, and navy.

The All Aboard Hooded Sweatshirt is my daughter's favorite piece because it's so diverse. There's really no end to the ways you can sport this top.  It looks great with jeans, a casual skirt, or  yoga pants. She can wear it as a top or even a lightweight jacket.

The shirt has a nice zip up design, a classic hood, and a thinning stripe pattern. Women of all ages can rock this look. It's versatile, fun, and extremely comfortable.

The Cotton Candy Sweater is the only piece my daughter didn't steal from me, and I'm so glad she didn't, even though she is a much better model than I am. This sweater is the perfect weight for spring. The loose knit lets your skin breathe, while still protecting you from a spring chill. The soft peach color is cheerful and bright. The length falls just below my waist, making it a great choice to wear with jeans or stretch pants.

These are only a few examples of the beautiful clothing available at Apricot Lane Boutique. There are plenty of other fashion forward styles from tons of designers including  Big Buddha, Emily Maynard, and 3Strands.  In addition to their beautiful clothes, Apricot Lane Boutique also offer a wide range of accessories including shoes, boots, jewelry and more.  Here are a few other items on my wish list.
