***I received this product from the publisher for free. However, they have not paid me for this review, and they do not exercise any editorial control over my review or anything else on this site.***
Parragon is one of the largest illustrated non-fiction publishers in the world. From great selections of Disney, Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Discovery Kids, Dora, TMNT, Sponge Bob to in-house favorites including Little Learners, Pinkabella, Dino Supersaurus, Glitterbelle, Life Canvas, Love Food and more, they make books affordable and accessible to readers all around the globe. Here are a few great choices for your little ones.

Glitterbelle is a glittery, sparkly, EXTRAORDINARY princess. But she has one not-so-sparkly, very ordinary problem… she will not eat her peas! When the queen reminds her that every princess in the family should LOVE peas because of that famous one that was hidden under the mattresses, Glitterbelle worries that she isn't a true princess at all. How can her friends and family convince her that she really is the sparkliest princess ever? A beautiful picture book with gorgeous collage-style art to admire.

 My Thoughts

Glitterbelle is a fun book that is sure to be a big hit with all the little princesses out there.  Glitterbelle is a unique princess. She loves to climb trees, dreams of being a vet, has two friends who are a witch and a ballerina, and hates peas. This is odd because her ancestor was proven a princess when she couldn't sleep with a pea under her mattress. Glitterbelle gets even more worried when she tries to kiss a frog and he doesn't turn into a princes. She thinks she might not be a real princess. Her parents try to teach her she can be different and still be a princess, and along the way, she learns that peas are better than she thought.

Though it was a little on the long side, this is definitely an adorable book. It teaches kids to be true to themselves and also encourages them to eat their vegetables.  The illustrations are really unique. The artist sketches the characters, then adds them to 3D scenes made from card-stock, fabric, and gems. The daughter loved the sparkly backgrounds and enjoyed learning about Princess Glitterbelle and her friends.

Glitterbelle Doodle, Dazzle, and Create is a fun companion book. There is a story included about Glitterbelle inviting her friends over for a slumber party. While they're there, they make crafts and decorations, and your child can make them right along with them. You can cut out a beautiful paper crowns, draw sketches, and so much more. It's tons of fun and a great way to encourage kids to read. It also comes with a cute little notebook is a tin case.

These are just a few examples of the fun books you can find at Parragaon Books. For more great titles for your kids, be sure to visit the Parragon website or connect with them via social media.
