My Thoughts

When I was a kid, the yellow chick Peeps let me know that Easter was on its way. Today, Peeps have evolved. They now offer a whole slew of products suitable for all your holiday celebrations.  With Valentine's Day coming up, we discovered some really tasty Peeps products which are the perfect way to make your little ones feel special. My daughter just loved the pink strawberry flavored chicks with the thick chocolate coating on the bottom, especially since they're her favorite color.

Peeps are also a fun way to turn the everyday into something spectacular.  I'm not one for complicated recipes, since I tend to burn almost everything I cook. But if you can make boxed cupcakes, you can turn them into a Valentine's Day surprise with a little help from Peeps. We made some vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting, sprinkled them with pink sugar, and then added heart-shaped Peeps on top. Just like that, we transformed a boring cupcake into the perfect treat for home or  Valentine's Day parties at school.  Peeps are also a safe choice if you have children in your class with peanut allergies.

This is just one fun way to use your peeps. For lots of great recipe and craft ideas, be sure to visit the Peeps website. If you want to pick up some Peeps for your Valentine's Day celebrations, you can find them in stores nationwide.

The color is cool. I didn't know they made them for other holidays.

I do not like Peeps. Any kind of Peeps. I'd rather have chocolate truffles.
