My Thoughts
I have always loved books that are personalized. It's so much easier to get children to want to read when they feel like they are really part of the story. In the Little Girl (or Boy) Who Lost Their Name, the story is all about them. The basis of the book will start out the same for each child. They wake up and can't remember their name. What follows is a magical journey to find the missing letters of their name through a world of magic and enchantment.
Once you set out on your journey, the book will be different for everyone. You stop by and meet magical beings and each one gives you one of the letters for your name. My daughter's name is Willow. Some of the people she got to meet were a Wizard for W, an Imp for I, and a Loin for L. Even though she has a few letters repeated in her name, there were different adventures for each letter. At the end of the story, you have all the letters you need to spell your name. Not only is it fun and personalized, it also helps teach kids learn how to spell their name! My daughter just loved this book! It's a lot of fun and if you have more than one child, each story will still be unique.
