My Thoughts

Accused is a really unique series because each episode follows a different character and is told from the perspective of the accused. It shows you their motives and actions and at times even makes you relate to the villains, who is many cases aren't the real villains at all. This box set is a great deal because it includes both Series 1 & 2 and gives you ten exciting episodes.

Willy's Story -  A devout Catholic makes a lot of mistakes, like cheating on his wife and overextending which leads to some poor choices.

Frankie's Story - Frankie joins the army to avoid prison, but running away is never the answer.

Helen's Story - A grieving mother takes matters into her own hands when her child is killed in a warehouse accident.

Liam's Story - A gambler is just as obsessed with a woman who is off limits as he is with the thrill of the game.

Kenny's Story: A father seeks revenge for an attack of his daughter.

Allison's Story - A woman cheats on her husband and a nasty battle follows.

Mo's Story - A hair stylist fighting against gang violence is murdered.

Stephen's Story - A son can't handle his father's affair with his mother's hospice nurse.

Tracie's Story- A man falls for a transvestite he met in a cab.

Tina's Story - An officer fights to reveal the truth about what's going on behind the scenes in a juvenile prison.

I really loved this series. I think it's one of my favorite from Acorn Media. Most television series only give you the forensics end of  crime, but seeing it from the point of view of the criminal gives everything a unique twist. In most cases I could relate to the crimes and could understand why these people did what they did. If you'd like to get your hands on this amazing box set, you can find it online at Acorn Media or Amazon.
