Bazooka Bubble Gum is a classic American confection
which first debuted in 1947. In 2013, Bazooka Candy Brands updated the
brand while staying true to its roots. The gum comes in original bubble
gum flavor as well as Blue Raspberry. The
new packaging will feature bold and colorful graffiti-styled wallet
packs, each containing both flavors of the gum. Bazooka Joe comic
inserts have also been updated to feature a digital extension to
increase consumer interaction. Each insert will feature
activities, quizzes or games kids can play as well as a code that will
allow them to unlock content online at the brand’s new entertainment
hub, BazookaJoe.com.
My Thoughts
I used to love Bazooka Gum when I was a kid, and it's still a family favorite. My kids always beg for a pack when we're standing in line at the grocery store, so they were excited to get a whole month's supply, and not only because of the long lasting blue raspberry flavor. My son is super excited about the “Wincredible” contest . He's been entering codes every day and racking up entries for tons of great prizes, including video game systems and bedroom makeovers. Wow, Bazooka has changed their look! I remember Bazooka Joe on the comics that wrapped the gum. This looks pretty good, I have to admit.
