With Mother's Day just around the corner, it's
time to show
mom just how special she is. Instead of the mandatory family hike
or Mother's Day brunch, why not let her stay cozy and relax in PACT.
PACT, the organic apparel line, shows you know what
Mom really likes (to relax!) while supporting other mothers and their families in
India.
Each season, PACT partners with a non-profit to make a social
change.
This year, PACT is working with the Chetna Organics, a cooperative that helps small and marginal
farmers towards improving their livelihood options and making farming a
sustainable and profitable occupation. In addition, PACT's apparel is produced
in a factory where workers are well paid, treated well, their families have
health insurance and children receive free education.
My Thoughts
Our clothes say a lot about who we are. I've taught my children to respect the earth and they are proud to be a part of a green family. We try to do our part and recycle, use all-natural, chemical free products, and we stick to organic alternatives for everything from our food to our clothing whenever possible. PACT makes having a great wardrobe simple with their stunning collection of everyday apparel.
What I really love about PACT clothing is the simplicity. Their pieces bring you back to the basics. I picked out one of their black t-shirts. You can wear this shirt with anything from a pair of jeans to a Boho skirt. The cut of the sleeves makes it easy to dress it up. Because it's made with organic cotton, the top is soft against your skin. There aren't even any itchy tags. It's even a style that bridges the generation gap. I had intended to keep this shirt for myself but my teenage daughter snatched it as soon as it got here.
In addition to the shirts, we also tried out some of PACT's organic cotton ankle socks. They come in a wide range of fun and fashionable color schemes including stripes and polka dots. They are so soft and comfortable it's easy to forget you have them on. They look great with a pair of boots and are the perfect socks to sleep in on nights when you don't want to have bare toes.
Of course the stylish fashion and all-natural materials they use are only two of the great selling points of PACT apparel. What makes it even more endearing is the fact that they give back to the farmers whose crops are essential to creating their clothing line. They treat their employees fairly, providing health benefits and even education for their children. When you buy sustainable clothing from PACT you know you're contributing to something that's a positive choice for the environment and humanity. looks super comfy and those socks look super comfy too!
What pretty clothes and I love that they are organic. Thank you for your review.
I like to wear cotton clothing more than other mixed fabric blends! I've never tried organic cotton wear, but I would like to as the clothing from PACT would be supporting a progressive cooperative like Chetna Organics. I also like the simple styles and prints available from the website; they look perfect for layering!
