She loves her human dad but she misses her biological mother. My Thoughts

Fanny The Flying French Bulldog is a fun picture book kids will love. It tells the tale of a little dog named Fanny who longs to be reunited with her mother. She thinks that if she could only fly, she'd be able to make her dream come true.  She hopes and wishes so hard that it actually happens. Fanny finds that when she flaps her ears, she can fly. So she takes off in search of her mother. Along the way she meets an animal circus. She stops there temporarily to show off her flying abilities but in the end sets back off to search for her mother. When they finally find each other, they have a lovely reunion and she even gets to meet her brothers and sisters before rejoining her adoptive human dad back home.

My daughter loved the story of Fanny the Flying Bulldog. The tale pulled her in and the beautiful illustrations kept her engaged. The presentation of the book is lovely. The hardcover edition even comes with a ribbon bookmark and there are a few colorful pullout pages when you get to the circus scenes.. The story of Fanny is an endearing tale of family and shows little kids that if you believe in yourself, you can make even the most impossible dreams come true.
