I don't know about you all, but I love to have some color in my hair, but a bad hair-dyeing experience has made swear off bleaching a single strand of my hair forever and ever. I ain't gonna do it, but because I have dark hair, in order for any color to show up, the hair has to be bleached first, then color put on. But it fries my hair like you wouldn't believe, so "tie-in" or even "clip-on" extensions allow me to enjoy an edgier look without the bleach.
MyLuxury1st Hair Extensions has the perfect hair options for me, and possibly, you. I received five strands of pink micro-loop extensions to try. First of all, I'd like to point out they use real human hair.
I took these to my hair stylist, because they do require a tiny pair of pliers to tighten and also to take them out and I don't have the pliers, nor am I very good at seeing my own hair in spots.
These are what they look like before:
My stylist simply slid the loop on about 5 strands of my real hair, got as close to my scalp as possible, and with a tiny snap, tug, and pinch of pliers, I had pink hair subtly popping off the black.
When I asked her how she felt overall about these particular extensions, she said they were just fine. The only problem she had was one tiny "ball" had to be opened with a pin. That took all of 2 seconds.
Later that day at work, two men asked me about the pink in my hair and said it was neat. :)
