The next three months are some of the best of the year. Three holidays in a row means lots of reasons to decorate. When I pick out my holiday decor, I prefer homemade and original items. Just one of the fabulous shops in TheCraftStar is Bernoulli's Attic who creates "unique and eclectic handcrafted oddments & whimsies of crochet, apparel, decor, house goods, and seasonal items." There are lots of beautiful products in this shop. For Halloween, I received their beautiful Halloween Wreath with Witches Shoes. This is a really unique piece that would look great hanging on any door. It's designed with colorful green, black, purple and orange ribbons--all the Halloween colors. The different shades blend together perfectly and the design is enhanced with little spiders and pumpkins. But of course my favorite part is the adorable, sparkly witch's shoe at the bottom of the wreath. This beautiful piece is the perfect way to add a little magic to your Halloween.
Thinking ahead to the Christmas, Bernoulli's Attic also offers handmade crocheted Christmas stockings. Stitched together in red and green, these lovely stockings are sturdy and well made and offer a great alternative to the typical stockings you find in department stores. There is plenty of room for Santa to fill them up with goodies or with coal if anyone is on the naughty list. A crocheted stocking would definitely add a unique touch to any holiday decor and you can tell every one of these stockings was sewn with love.
