Ceaco Dreams of Disney With New Thomas Kinkade Jigsaw Puzzles

***Complimentary copy received in exchange for an honest review***

Ceaco, a leading manufacturer of high quality jigsaw puzzles, recently secured the exclusive rights to produce a series of puzzles based on Thomas Kinkade’s “My Disney Dreams Collection” a group of paintings inspired by great moments from famous Walt Disney movies. The puzzles, previously only available at Walt Disney theme parks, will receive nation-wide distribution starting this summer.

“This is one of the most exciting developments in our 17 year partnership with Thomas Kinkade,” says Trudi Lazarus, Ceaco’s Executive Vice President. “Each painting is a beautifully rendered fantasy of some of Disney’s most iconic film moments. I’m sure that each puzzle will be treasured by Thomas Kinkade collectors and Walt Disney fans alike.”

The initial release of Thomas Kinkade- Disney Dreams puzzles will consist of the three classic titles, Cinderella Wishes Upon a Dream, Pinocchio Wishes Upon a Star and Beauty and the Beast Falling in Love. The 750 piece puzzles will retail for a suggested $11.99

My Thoughts

Ceaco has just merged three of my greatest passions. Thomas Kinkade is my favorite artist. The limtied edition print I have hanging on my wall is one of my most prized possessions. I also have a soft spot for Disney princesses. Even before my daughter's were born, I enjoyed these classic fairytales. Finally, jigsaw puzzles for one of our favorite family pass times. My two girls and I do a few of them together each week.

The Disney Dreams collection is unique because it really brings scenes alive with the vibrant colors that Kinkade is famous for. Shades seem to shift and blend even as you're putting the puzzle together and once completed, the scene seems to change from sunset to sunrise as as the lighting changes, just like the paintings.

We received the Cinderella edition and its definitely stunning. Each puzzle is 750 pieces which I find to be the perfect amount. Its not too complicated for the kids to join in and it doesn't take months to put it together. We were able to complete ours in just a few hours. The pieces are a decent size so they are easy to grip and get into place without feeling like they are getting lost in your fingers. Once complete, the masterpiece is definitely frame worthy, but my family prefers the fun of putting the puzzle together again another day. With the sturdy box, storage won't be a problem. At only $11.99, these puzzles are definitely a great deal. If you're like me and already looking ahead to holiday shopping, they would make a great stocking stuffer for children and adults alike.
