My Thoughts 

Pureology sent me a few of the of the items  from the Serious Color Care line to try out. These are specifically designed for highlighted hair.  All the items in the line really bring out the shine in highlighted hair and add new life to it. The gel is even pretty to look at with its swirling golden sparkles that you can see through the bottle. When styling, it gives you the extra hold you need for all kinds of styles. It also adds a little bit of enhancement to highlights, which really makes them stand out.

The illuminating moose is another cool product. This gives extra strength to fine hair and to hair that might be damaged from highlights, returning it to its normal healthy glow.  It doesn't leave hair feeling heavy, but instead allows it to stay  touchable, soft, and manageable. 

Finally, I tried the sea-kissed texturizer and I think that was my favorite. It definitely helps to make color treated hair look fuller and have more body. It also helps to get out the tangles if you use it right after washing. The light, crisp scent is very pleasant. The combination of these three products is a great way to keep color-treated hair looking shiny and healthy all year long. I'm sure using the matching shampoo and conditioner set would only enhance the effect. Of course the best part is knowing Pureology is doing their part to help the environment by using recycled material for their bottles and using sulfate free ingredients. Now you can be beautiful while keeping the earth beautiful  as well.
