Foil Art Stickers from Peaceable Kingdom

***Complimentary product received in exchange for an honest review***

Foil Art is a lot like coloring a picture, but with foil instead of crayons or markers. Kids get to see the end result so quickly and this product line has been a huge hit with both girls and boys. Unlike art made with crayons, markers or paint, Foil Art leaves no mess to clean up. The foil only sticks to the sticky areas of the picture or jewelry you’re creating!

To find out how to get crafty with Foil Art, take a look at this one minute video!

Foil Art Jewelry Sticker Kit was nominated for the 2013 ASTRA (American Specialty Toy Retailing Association) "Best Toys for Kids" award and we just know it's going to continue making waves this year.

My thoughts

My family spends a lot of time outside, but on rainy days, I like to have crafts on hand so my children have something to do other than watching t.v. and playing video games. I already own many of the board games from Peaceable Kingdom, and they are definitely some of my children's favorites pass times. Now they have crafts they love too. The Foil Art Craft Projects are a fun and environmentally safe way to keep your children busy on rainy summer days. They have both sticker and jewelry sets that will leave kids sparkling with imagination.

We were lucky enough to receive one of the sticker sets to review and my daughter was thrilled with the fairy design. She is not quite four yet and I was worried it might be too complicated for her to master, but the set is simple to use.  You remove the backing with the pictures one piece at a time to reveal the stickiness beneath. Then you chose a color foil . When you press the lightweight foil against the sticker, it peels away, covering that section perfectly. Taking it one piece at a time, you can create beautiful artwork worthy of framing.

My daughter had so much fun creating her foil art. She didn't get nearly as frustrated as she normally does with craft projects, and it kept her occupied and quiet for well over an hour. She was so pleased with the final product, we'll be hanging them in her room. I can't recommend the new foil kits enough. I'll definitely be getting a few more of them in the near future.
