Pixuru, New App: From Cell Phone to Wall Art in No Time

This is pretty darn cool. First of all, I use my cell phone for pictures so often, I don't even bother to carry a REAL camera anymore. To be honest, I don't think I remember how to use a real camera. LOL So this app, I can see it coming in handy.

With Pixuru, anyone with an iphone or a droid can take a photo and within minutes, order a canvas, wood, framed, or metal wall art of it. And that's not all: You can also order a CASE for the phone with it!

Step one: You download the app FREE from the Google Play site. It uploaded to my droid within a minute.

Step two: Touch the program and open it. With your finger, flip through your options. Try not to get too distracted by the adorable dog in the photos. LOL

The options are: Canvas, Framed, Metal, Wood, Panel, Cases. Select your poison. In my case it was canvas.

3. You then flip through, with just a touch of your finger, various sizes and prices of canvas or wood or whatever. Select the size you desire, touch Add Photo at the bottom. Upload from Instagram, Facebook, or your Camera.

4. You move the photo around on the screen until it's where you want it to be. You rotate picture, rotate item, move and scale up or down...*and here is my only quibble with this app. You cannot move it left or right. At least I couldn't.*

5. Click on DONE and a little doggy tells you if it looks good or not.

7. You get free shipping anywhere in the U.S. and within a matter of weeks your artwork has gone from your cell phone to your wall...like this:

The final product came out great. I do think the horizontal image looks blurry compared to the large image, and I wish the program had said something about pixels or something, but I'm happy.
