My Thoughts

This Fourth of July, Kohl's has just what you need to get your family in the holiday mood. Its all about the red, white, and blue, but I like to pick out outfits that will last through the holiday and beyond. Kohl's came through with some adorable summer fashions. For my daughter, the Jumping Bean All American Girl set was the perfect choice. She loves the smiling ice cream characters on the shirt. Its just the right weight for watching the fireworks display on the boardwalk. But the really cool thing about this set it that it comes with two different pairs of shorts. Not only does this give you two unique outfit ideas, its also great to have a spare pair of matching pants where toddlers are concerned because you just never know what may happen.

For my little boy, we went with a patriotic skate boarder look. The blue tie string shorts are just adorable and make it easy to tighten or loosen the pants so you get plenty of use out of them, even if you're baby is growing like a weed. The Tony Hawk button down shirt is a classy look any time of year, but the red, white, and blue pattern make it perfect for the 4th. It works great for casual and semi-casual gatherings, and as chic as it appears, its also nice and comfortable for little kids and makes diaper changes quick and easy.
