My Thoughts


 As a green mom, I am always on the look out for organic skincare products that are safe to use for my children, but still get the job done.  Celadon Road products are made from certified organic ingredients like shear butter and jojoba oil. There are no synthetic fragrances or colors, no chemicals and they are not animal tested. Yet, unlike other organic products out there, they actually work. 
 
For my review, I received the  Suncreen with SPF 20. There were lots of things I liked about this product, in addition to it being a more natural alternative. First of all, its not at all greasy or sticky when its applied. I also like the scent. It was very light and doesn't smell like chemicals. It almost feels like you're applying regular skin cream. It addition, its water proof and sweat resistant and safe even for babies under six months old.  And of course, most importantly, it worked perfectly. There was not one speck of sunburn on me or the kids even after a full eight hours in the sun without reapplying. Of course, the sun isn't that strong yet. In the heart of the summer or after any water sports, you would need to reapply or perhaps use a stronger SPF option.


I also got to try their All Natural Insect Repellent. With the mosquito out full force, it was the perfect time to get it. Just a little of this spray on repellent goes a long way. It goes on clean and its not sticky like some other repellents. It has a light citronella scent that is not overwhelming. Its safe for kids on all ages because its all natural.  And it works great. When we were out today I didn't get one bite and either did my kids.
