Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie Coming July 19th! #TeenBeachMovie

In the tradition of High School Musical and Camp Rock, the Disney Channel is getting ready to bring yet another musical adventure to family movie night. This time they'll be hitting the beaches with the rock and roll film, Teen Beach Movie.  This exciting new story, staring Ross Lynch (Austin and Aly), and Maia Mitchel (The Foster's) is sure to get your whole family dancing.

Teen Beach Movie follows the adventures of Brady and McKenzie, a  young teen couple who ride out onto the water together to catch the last wave of the season. Somehow they get swept up into a classic movie called  "Wet Side Story" where bikers and surfers are fighting for control of the local beaches. To make matters worse, the stars of the show, who are supposed to fall for each other, wind up having feelings for the newcomers. Now Brandy and McKenzie must set things right before time runs out or even if they find their way home, the future could he changed forever.

My children are totally psyched about this movie, especially since we live at the Jersey shore and spend a lot of time out on the waves ourselves. The plot of the movie sounds like its going to be fun for kids and parents alike.  Even grandparents will like the fifties scenery and hair styles, making this the perfect film for the whole family. We have already cleared our calenders for the premiere. In the meantime, we've been having a blast with some fun Teen Beach Movie themed products, as you can see from the photos above.

You can get a head start on the fun too. Just head over to the Teen Beach Movie website. There you can download a party kit that includes recipes, themed games, activities and music videos. Some of the ideas  you'll find are the origami lei necklaces for crafting. Tasty recipes suggestions include Blue(berry) Hawaii Bread and Rockin' Raspberry Smoothies.  But most importantly, be sure to remember the date! Teen Beach Movie will be premiering Friday, July 19th and 8pm/7c.  and this is one party you aren't going to want to miss.
