Each individual box includes 16 individually wrapped/branded chocolate truffles. They are custom made with a proprietary Belgian liquor chocolate blended with 250 mg of Omega-7-rich sea buckthorn oil in each truffle. That is about ½ of the Omega-7 in each Sibu Beauty dietary supplement capsule – a LOT for something that tastes as decadent as this indulgent treat. Every box includes 8 orange-flavored milk chocolate truffles and 8 mint-flavored dark chocolates (total of 16 in each box).

Sibu Seven . . . oh now there’s heaven in a box! We received the Dark Mint & Milk Orange Omega 7 Chocolates to review. While they are not dairy and soy free (the Dark Mint is dairy-free, the Milk Orange is not), they are completely gluten free and contain simple ingredients you can actually pronounce, unlike many of today’s sweets. And they contain Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil, which is nice to see is gaining popularity, for many good reasons (which includes it’s level of Omega 7’s).
These are really decadent and very, very smooth. Since we follow the paleo way of eating, I’m very strict about what we do and do not eat, sweets included. Dairy isn’t normally part of our diet, but I know from sampling it from time to time that my body digests it well. Having eliminated 99.9% of all dairy from my diet, I’ve lost my taste for most milk chocolates – that dehydrated milk flavor is so overpowering! But with Sibu, I barely noticed the whole milk powder flavor – and what I could taste blends nicely with the chocolate , peppermint, and orange flavors. As my son nears school age, it’s important to me to find sweets he can enjoy at school with the other children since he has so many dietary sensitivities and I don’t want him to feel left out. It can be tough to find treats that are safe for him! I probably won’t let him have the ones with dairy, but I’ll let him have the Dark Mint if he wants some. He has recently decided that chocolate is good, LOL!!!!
