#Phantom is Coming! Win Phantom T-shirt from Art is Dumb

If you're an artist, whether its a writer, painter, dancer, actor or any of the other arts, its important to maintain a sense of humor and not take yourself too seriously. I think the owner of Art is Dumb had that concept in mind when he named his shop. You can tell by his amazing, detailed work, that he is a true artist. I think we all have those moment where we want to toss down our pen, throw our computer out the window, or dose our canvas in black paint so we can't see the work we aren't satisfied with. As frustrating moments like that, I sometimes think art is dumb, but then I get over it...Of course when I look at the work at Art is Dumb, DUMB is not the adjective that comes to mind--more appropriate D words would be deliciously demented or delightfully dark. From original paintings to sinister t-shirts, you can find some truly dynamite retro monster art at Art is Dumb.

One of the masterpieces available at Art is Dumb, is a especially gruesome rendition of the Phantom, based off the Lon Chaney classic film.  But you can also find Frankenstein's wife, Vincent Price, American Psycho and more. One of my favorites is the David Bowie design. I have always hoped he would play Richard if Destiny were every made into a movie.

To celebrate the release of Phantom, one lucky winner is going the Phantom t-shirt shown in the photo above in the size of their choice. You will be able to enter this giveaway at both the New Age Mama and Author Laura DeLuca blogs. You only need to enter ONCE. Please do not enter on both blogs. Entries will be merged and one winner will be chosen. Giveaway will end on 4/10/12 and is open  to the US only. Winners will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to reply.
