Holiday Gift Guide - Streekers Review & Giveaway

One of the newest fads for tweens, teens, and even a few adults, are colorful streeks in their hair.  My daughter is always one of the first to jump on the style bandwagon, so she has been nagging me for months to dye her hair. Well, she is only eleven and I refuse to let her do something as drastic as permanent hair dye. But I told her if we found something temporary we would give it a try. She was so excited when we found Streekers. They offer a variety of fun hair colors that are perfect for tweens.

Since the holidays are coming, we were sent the red and green Streekers to try out.  Using them is easy. They come in a little tube, similar to nail polish. You use the applicator to color in a strand or patch of hair with the desired color. We did run into a problem with my daughter. The website did warn us that it worked better on blond hair. My daughter's hair is a medium brown, and the colors barely showed up at all. But my son, who inherited his father's dirty blond hair, had no trouble at all. It shows up bright, and since his hair is short, you can even make designs. He is saving the green to help route on his favorite football team, The Eagles.  All in all, I was impressed with the product. It lasts until you wash it out, and looks great. You just need light colored hair to use it.

If you have tween or teen who is dying to add a little color and flare to their style, Streekers are also available in pink, blue, purple, ultra violet, yellow and orange. They run $10.95 per bottle and they offer a low shipping rate of only $3.95 no matter how many you order. Streekers are the perfect size for stocking stuffers, so grab some today and add a little color to your holiday fun.

In honor of the holiday season, one lucky winner is going to receive a bottle of red and green Streekers to try for themselves. To enter, just fill in the Rafflecopter form below. The winner will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to reply. Thanks again to Think Geek for offering this fantastic prize.
