Holiday Gift Guide - Gubs & Who Would Win Card Games from Gamewright Review & Giveaway

Gamewright is one of my favorite companies when it comes to fun and unique board games. But now I have found they make some great card games too. We were lucky enough to receive two of these games to try out and my kids have been having a ball.

The first game we got to try is GUBS.  As a lover of all things fantasy, this game is right up our alley.  The GUBS are a colony of creatures who live under the dewy clover. The object of the card game is to gather the strongest colony. Seek the wisdom of the elders or the protection of the "Toad Rider" as you find your way through traps, lures, and other dangers. The game is designed for children ages 10 and up and can be played with two to six players.  My children loved this colorful new world and were quickly immersed in the brilliant artwork and challenging game of wit and magic. Its a game you can play a thousand times and its always new and different because with 70 cards, you will never be dealt the same hand twice. At only $11.99, this game would make a great stocking stuffer for tweens who love fantasy.

If fantasy isn't your thing, another fun choice is Who Would Win. This game casts two unlikely celebrities in strange duels against one another. Would Oprah or Donald Trump win a hot dog eating contest? Or would Darth Vader use the force to conquer Shakespeare in a figure skating duel? The two opposing players will have to convince the judge of which one of the pair will emerge victorious before the sand runs out on the timer in order to win the game. There are 200 cards and endless combinations. This games makes for a lot of laughs at parties or on family game night. It is designed for three or more players ages 12 and up.

This is only two examples of dozens of fun games available at Gamewright. They have games available for children from ages three and up.  Go in search of treasure in their Forbidden Island game or have fun with words with Rory's Story Cubes. To learn more about this great company and all they have to offer you can visit their website. You can also follow them on twitter or become their fan on face book. Spice up your family game night with the unique games you can only find at Gamewright!

One very lucky winner is going to receive be able to choose one of the two card games I reviewed-GUBS or Who Would Win!  To enter, just fill in the Rafflecopter form below. The winner will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to reply. Thanks again to Gamewright offering this fantastic prize.
