Holiday Gift Guide - Big League Sports for Xbox 360® Review
Sports are a big part of my family's life, whether its watching Sunday night football, or cheering my son along on the basketball court. I personally can't catch a ball to save my life in the real world, but in the virtual world I do slightly better. I love playing sports games with the kids, especially on the X-box 360 with Kinect. And now, with Big League Sports by Activision, we can play six different sports for the price of one.
Kinect games are always cool because they are hands free. But having no controllers is even cooler when you're playing sports. It gives you the freedom to move around and really get into the game. Big League sports features six interactive games including golf, football, baseball, soccer. basketball, and hockey. Each sport features three different play modes which gives you a total of eighteen skill testing challenges. You can play alone or up to four people can join in. Each game will make you feel like you're on the field with the pros, and getting right into the action.
This is definitely one of the coolest sports games my kids have ever played. The graphics are vivid and lifelike. Its always fun to see your avatar move along with you, but its even more exciting to see yourself out on the field. The game is rated E for everyone. My older kids are ten and eleven and they found the games challenging, but not so much so that its frustrating for them. Its every kids dream to become sports hero, and with Big League Sports, its one dream that came become a reality. This game is a great choice for any child this holiday season.
If you have a child who would love to get this game for the holidays, it is available in stores nationwide including WalMart and Game Stop. You can also find it online at Amazon for only $39.99. For any child who loves sports and video games, this is a great choice for a holiday stocking stuffer.
