This year, I was determined to find my children some gifts for their birthdays that aren't going to get thrown in the toy chest. I also want something educational. There's no way to avoid a video game or two, but at Educational Insights, I found the kind of gifts I can feel good about giving my children. They have science kits, art kits, craft kits and more. These are the kind of toys that expand your child's mind and imagination.
For our review, we received the MicroPro 48 Piece Microscope Set. This toy is awesome! Its not a cheap imitation. It really works. It comes with all kids of cool accessories, like professionally prepared slides, collection viles, dissection tools and more. The powerful scope magnifies items up to 600x larger which really let you get in there and get a good look at things. Its so much fun, that my husband and I were still fooling around with it long after the kids went to bed. Its amazing seeing what things are made of, and a real learning experience for parents and kids. The MicroPro is designed for kids eight and up, and can provide hours of scientific exploration. At only $39.99, it is one of the more affordable microscopes I have come across to date.
This is only one example of hundreds of amazing fun and educational toys and games for all ages you can find at Educational Insights. If its on your birthday list or even if you are trying to get a head start on your Christmas shopping, you can probably find just what you're looking. While you're visiting, be sure to head over to their face book page and enter the California Dreaming Sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to Southern California to see a live taping of Jeopardy! This sweepstakes will end on 8/31/11 so make sure to get your entries in now.
In honor of the New Age Mama Summer Birthday Bash, the wonderful folks over at Educational Insights are going to give one of my readers the same MicroPro 48 Piece Microscope that I received to review.
